Miranda Lambert shared a backstage moment from her recent Band Together Texas benefit show that she hosted with Parker McCollum.

Lambert showed the moment she and McCollum rehearsed “a lil George Strait” backstage at Moody Center in Austin, Texas. The two artists, both hailing from the Lone Star State, teamed up to host the fundraising event to help support those impacted by devastating floods last month. Lambert and McCollum rehearsed a rendition of Strait’s “True” backstage. The beloved country legend released the song on his 1998 record, One Step at a Time.

“True, like the sun comin' up each mornin’/ Bright as the light in a baby's smile/ Sure as a mountain river windin’/ Right as the rain fallin' from the sky/ Girl my love for you, is true”
