Parker McCollum and his wife, Hallie Ray Light McCollum, posted their gender reveal on Monday night (February 12). The parents-to-be will welcome a baby boy later this year.
“Baby BOY McCollum!” Hallie gushed in her caption as she posted a reel on Instagram, set to McCollum’s “Things I Never Told You” from his latest full-length album, Never Enough. “We love you, little cowboy 💙”
McCollum and his wife announced last week that they’re expecting Baby No. 1 this year. They posted a photo sharing a kiss in front of a stunning sunset as Hallie cradles her growing baby bump. McCollum exclaims in a tweet at that time”: “I’m gone be a daddy! Baby M coming later this year! Such a huge blessing from God!”
The McCollums tied the knot in a gorgeous Texas wedding in 2022. The award-winning country star previously told PEOPLE that “there was no doubt in my mind that I was making the right decision,” proposing to his now-wife. McCollum has since shared, as the couple celebrated their one-year wedding anniversary, that “your quality time is like the number-one thing that they [wives] really care about, at least mine does, and it’s the one thing I just don’t have a surplus of. And so I’ve learned really to, and it’s hard for me to relax and slow down. …She’s really easy on me. But I have learned more than anything that is it my time that probably goes the furthest with her.”
