I use to think my path in life was in the art world. I did a lot of abstract sculptures out of clay, pencil & charcoal sketches, water color & oil paintings...but my favorite medium was pastels. I liked the way you can layer and smudge and feather and blend the colors to add the illusion of texture. I think it was when my "Blue Jays In A Tree" came in third in a high school art contest that I decided to toss the sketch pads and focus on playing guitar. Hindsight...and looking at my works with fresh eyes...I made the right decision. Want to hear Stairway to Freebird?

Have a great weekend!
