Little Emily is a living medical miracle. She wasn't your typical premature baby, she was born 4 months early weighing in at only 12 ounces.
She is the smallest surviving baby born at Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City. Her mother, Melanie, wasn't aware that micro-premies existed until she had Emily, says that "She was about the size of a Coke can.”
Emily spent her first 5 months in the hospital, but was just released last Friday, finally home with her family.
